Skill development

Focuses on practical life skills such as meal preparation, budgeting, self-care, and community access. Activities are tailored to individual abilities, with guided practice provided in a supervised environment.

Social interaction

Encourages respectful peer engagement and supported group participation. Structured group activities create opportunities to practise communication and shared tasks. Staff provide guidance to maintain appropriate boundaries and group expectations.

Community participation

Activities may include supervised outings aligned with participant goals and available funding. Community-based sessions are planned to support safe participation in local environments. These activities are delivered with appropriate supervision and preparation.

Goal-oriented support

All activities are planned in line with individual NDIS plans and documented goals. Program content is reviewed to ensure alignment with agreed service arrangements. Participation and support needs are discussed with the participant and, where appropriate, their support network.

Communication and Learning Outcomes

Who might need a Lifestyle day program?

Our Lifestyle Day Program may suit NDIS participants seeking structured, centre-based daytime support focused on practical skills and social participation. The program is designed for adults who benefit from routine, guided activities and small group learning aligned with their NDIS goals.

Individuals working towards greater independence in areas such as personal organisation, meal preparation, or everyday tasks may benefit from structured sessions. Activities are delivered in a practical format to provide structured opportunities to practise daily living tasks.

Adults who would benefit from guided peer interaction and communication practice may find this program suitable. Group-based activities provide structured opportunities to participate in a respectful, supportive setting.

Participants who respond well to predictable schedules and structured days may benefit from a consistent weekly timetable. A routine-based format provides structured opportunities for engagement and participation.

Individuals with NDIS goals related to community access may benefit from supported group outings. Activities are planned in line with participant goals and funding arrangements.

Participants moving into adult-based support services may require a centre-based daytime option. The program provides a structured environment to support this transition.

Individuals whose NDIS plans include goals related to independence, social participation, or life skills may be suitable for the program. Suitability is discussed before commencement to ensure alignment with support needs and funding.
